In Today’s show we are going to highlight the first Digital Cisco Live US 2020. What the schedule looks like, what sessions there are and when they will go live. And of course our Network Design (CCDE) Focus Session list. I’m so excited and I cannot wait to for the event!!
Digital Cisco Live US 2020
A couple of things to call out. The session IDs are going to be different for this event. Since it is a digital event, the first portion of the session ID has been modified to reflect that its specifically for the digital event.
A huge thanks needs to go out to the entire Cisco Live Content team. They have literally put together a new event in less than 8 weeks.
Digital Cisco Live – Broadcast Event (June 16-17)
The Cisco Live Content Team has put together a live Digital Event that I am calling the Broadcast schedule. This is a two day event starting today (June 16th) and ending tomorrow (June 17th).
There are going to be 4 different / unique channels with over 40 sessions for you to choose from. Here is the Agenda for each day (https://www.ciscolive.com/us/broadcast.html). You can of course register and build out your own personal schedule like we are used to doing at the onsite event.
Here is the event details page to learn all about the Live Broadcast event: https://www.ciscolive.com/us/attend/event-details.html
Broadcast Sessions I wouldn’t miss:
- Day 1 (June 16th)
- Keynote: Possibilities
- “Five for Five”: Five Innovations Shaping the Future of Networking
- Disruption Mindset Shift
- Multi-cloud Networking for ACI and NX-OS Enabled Data Center Fabrics
- Day 2 (June 17th)
- Keynote: The New World is Now
- IT Transformation: Enabling Business Agility
- Unleashing Innovation with 5G and Wi-Fi 6
- Next Generation SP Transport Network Architectures
If you find the above interesting feel free to try to fit them into your schedule. I would truly try not to miss any of them.
Digital Cisco Live – On Demand Event (June 18)
The plan for on demand content is a three release cycle. The first release is going to be this Thursday June 18th. The second release is going to be July 15. The final release will be sometime in September.
For this first release, the Cisco Live Content team has put together over 200 sessions…~221 to be exact. Again in only 8 weeks. Most if not all of these sessions required more effort and work than a normal onsite Cisco Live Event. The speakers really stepped up this year, to deliver outstanding value in every session. While a lot of these session recordings that you will see are 30 minutes, 60, minutes, or even 120 minutes, a lot more time went in to create them. An average estimate for each session is around 50 hours
My session BRKRST-2044, now named DGTL-BRKRST-2044, will be launching in the first release of sessions this week!! I put a ton of time into this session, this year. I recorded close to 20 demos!! :). If Enterprise Multi-homed Internet Edge Architectures is something you are looking for, please feel free to take a look at my session. I also still leverage the same Github link for all of my configurations, lab topology, and blog walk through. (BRKRST-2044 on Github)
