ZNDP 052 – Top Network Design Sessions from Digital Cisco Live US 2020 To Make you the Best Designer

Network Design

In Today’s show we are going to continue to highlight the first Digital Cisco Live US 2020. Last month we ran through what the schedule looked like, what sessions there were for the first release and when they would go live. Then we highlighted our Network Design (CCDE) Focus Session list. Today’s show is going to highlight the specific Network Design (CCDE) Focused Sessions for the second release which was on July 15th. I’m so excited and I can’t wait, so lets get into it!!

Digital Cisco Live US 2020 – Network Design

A couple of things to call out. The session IDs are going to be different for this event. Since it is a digital event, the first portion of the session ID has been modified to reflect that its specifically for the digital event.

A huge thanks needs to go out to the entire Cisco Live Content team. They have literally put together a new event in less than 8 weeks.

Digital Cisco Live – On Demand Event (July 15) – Network Design

The plan for on demand content is a three release cycle. The first release was June 18th. If you didn’t get a chance to listen or watch the first episode that covered the first release you can below:

[PODCAST] ZNDP 051 – Digital Cisco Live US 2020 – Network Design & CCDE Focused Sessions

The second release was July 15. The final release will be sometime in September.

For the second release, the Cisco Live Content team put together ~250 sessions. Between the first release and the second release thats 469 sessions in total. Most if not all of these sessions required more effort and work than a normal onsite Cisco Live Event. The speakers really stepped up this year, to deliver outstanding value in every session. While a lot of these session recordings that you will see are 30 minutes, 60, minutes, or even 120 minutes, a lot more time went in to create them. An average estimate for each session is around 50 hours

My session BRKRST-2044, now named DGTL-BRKRST-2044, was launched in the first release of sessions!! I put a ton of time into this session, this year. I recorded close to 20 demos!! :). If Enterprise Multi-homed Internet Edge Architectures is something you are looking for, please feel free to take a look at my session. I also still leverage the same Github link for all of my configurations, lab topology, and blog walk through. (BRKRST-2044 on Github)

Free Resources

We have created a new page on our site to have one locations for all resources. In June 2020, two new Free resources were published. On July 24th, 2020 we published a new Free resource titled Free Non-Technical Guide to the CCDE Practical. We are calling them #FreebieFridays! More Free resources will be published soon! All of them will be included on the Zigbits Resources page

Here are all of the free resources we have published to date!

  1. Free Guide of The Benefits of SD-WAN
